Blending Cultures in the Truth of God

Beliefs

 What Esperanza Believes
We Believe
that the Hope Of Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. We subscribe to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as a doctrinal summary.

Our Mission
is to sow the Hope Of The Gospel, and make Christ centered disciples of all ages and equip them to Share This Hope with others.

Our Vision
is to be a center for Impacting the Border region with the Gospel Of Christ.

Our church values multicultural worship
Christ desires for us to love one another. The Miracle of the church is Many Kinds of people Connected in Christ. In Revelation 7:9-10 we are shown a Snapshot of Heaven where the throne of God is surrounded by all peoples and all tongues.

More about what our church desires to do

Truth - This church exalts conservative doctrines that pertain to: authority and inerrancy of scripture (Luke 24:25-27, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 4;12, 2 Peter 1:19-21); marriage and family (Ephesians 5:22-6:4); sexual purity (Acts 15:19-20, Romans 1:26-32, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20); and male leadership (1 Corinthians 11:3,1 Timothy 2:12-14).

Relevance - This church desires to provide an atmosphere that is culturally sensitive to the blend of seekers while maintaining a pure presentation of the Gospel message (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

Family - This church desires to worship and operate all of her ministries as much as possible and sensible in a multi-cultural context in order to accommodate the families of Del Rio (Acts 2:6-7). This church uses events that attract children, but with the intent of reaching whole families with the gospel (Acts 16:32-33). We also desire to strengthen familes through the use of Parenting classes, Marriage conferences, and Purity seminars.
